Working of OTEC:
1. In OTEC plant, teh energy of warm surface water is used to convert low boiling point liquid ammonia inot gaseous state.
2.The vapour of ammoni at high pressure is used to spin the turbines of generators converting the ocean thermal energy to electricity.
3. Teh used vapour pass throught eh condenser where cold water, pumped from teh deeper parts of ocean condenses ammonia vapour back inot liquid.
4. The process is tepeated again and gain to get continous prodiction of electricity
