Q11 of 49 Page 11

A certain household has consumed 250 units of energy during a month. How much energy is this in joules?

Given,

Energy consumed = 250 units

= 250 kWh

We know that,

1 kilowatt-hour = 3.6 × 106 J

250 kilowatt-hours = 3.6 × 106 × 250

= 9 × 108 J
