Which sector generates services rather than goods?

The activities of the tertiary sector generate services rather than goods. Thus it is also called the service sector. The tertiary/service sector provides service as an end product. Media and communication, banking, real estate, hotels, education, health and recreation form a part of the tertiary sector.
