Time story

The 21st century era would definitely be different from the 19th century. There would be great changes in the politics, administration, monuments, literary personalities and the great scientists and leaders of the two eras. Surely if there are differences, there will be similarities too.

The thing about cast and creed is true, most of the Indians still believe in those, they still follow the age-old restrictions on the matter of marriage or social structures. There is still the age-old us and thembetween Indians. But things have become less frequent now, or exceptions to this are coming into knowledge. The thought about women has changed a lot since the 19th century. In the 19th century India was under the British rule. The British rulers never wanted the Indians to be their equal, in the office or in the society. But to keep the administration running, large number of workers was needed. The education system was controlled by the British. So they started such an education scheme that would generate persons with intelligence just as much as needed to be a clerk. There was no industry of our own, nor was the policy making industrial development in our hand. All the things, the daily commodities were imported from Britain, we didn't even have the right to make salt for ourselves. Now, in the modern era the world is very different from how it was in the 19th century. We have technology which, in the 1800's, people wouldn't have even dreamt about. Now, in the 21st century people like to believe that we live in a just, free society. They like to consider themselves more civilized than the people of previous times. They like to believe that we live in a fair community; a community where everyone is treated the same, with no exceptions.

Yes, we live in a different world than the people of the 19th century, by far, but if you look closely and compare the modern day with the 1800's you will find that although things have changed spectacularly, some things haven't changed at all. As stated before there were many social issues in the 19th century, as with all the centuries before them. Some problems spanned back decades, even hundreds of years while other problems were new and directly affected the lifestyles of the people who lived then. Although the world has changed a lot since the 1800's, such as child labor or lifestyles, many things such as discrimination towards other races and cultures are still around today and may as well still exist at the end of time. Everyday things change; people are born, people die, yet everyone goes on with their day to day lives, practically oblivious to the problems around them.
