Draw ∆ABC such that l(BC) = 5.5 cm, mABC = 90°, l(AB) = 4 cm. Show the orthocentre of the triangle.

Orthocentre is the point of intersection of any two altitudes of a triangle.


Steps of constructions.


(1) Draw a right-angled triangle.


(2) Here, AB and BC are altitudes.


Points of intersection of AB and BC is B.


Hence, B is orthocenter of the triangle.
