Soil is very important for the sustenance of both flora and fauna. The fertility of the soil is responsible for the growth of the plants. The green vegetation in the country is responsible because of the soil.

Factors responsible for soil formation

• Wind

The movement of rocks through winds produce the small particles known as sediments. These sediments turn into the soil after long decades.

• Rocks

The hitting of rocks each other is responsible for the soil formation. The soil can be formed in any of the forms. The nature of the soil depends on the nature of the rocks that are being created of.

• Water.

The soil is washed to the shore by means of water. The water makes the soil very clear from rocks and other heavy particles and forms the soil in the shore and banks.
