Justify the statement - 'Justice delayed is justice denied'.

The judicial system is the final reviewer of the constitution. The only source of getting justice in our country is through the judicial system. The issue which was commonly faced by the victims is the delay the courts make to access Justice to the victim.

For example – on 22nd May 1987, 43 Muslims of Hashimpura, Meerut was killed. It has been 20 years that the family members of these victims were trying to get justice. On September 2002, the Supreme Court transferred the case from Uttar Pradesh to Delhi due to the delay in passing the judgment. The case is still continuing and as a result, 19 Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) men are charged with criminal prosecution for alleged murder and other offences. Only 3 of these men were examined by 2007.

This is an example which proves that the judicial system of our country is denying people from getting justice as 'Justice delayed is justice denied'.
