Why are companies and contractors able to violate environmental laws?

The companies and contractors are able to violate environmental laws because of the following reasons:

a)The main aim of such companies is to make a profit.

b) They often resort to unfair practices such as providing an unsafe working condition, damaging the environment, employing children, hiring at a low wage rate, etc.

c) They focus more on earning profit rather than the well being of the people.

d) It is the responsibility of the government to ensure that every company is following the rules and regulations of the workplace and to ensure Social justice to the workers.

e) The government has to implement strict laws and identify and punish the violators of these laws.
