a) Thyroid secretes thyroxin hormone.


Function: Thyroxin regulates carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism in the body so as to provide the best balance for growth.


b) Pituitary secretes the growth hormone.
Function: Growth hormone regulates growth and development of the body.


c) Pancreas secretes insulin.
Function: helps in regulating blood sugar levels.
