What are the qualifications required for recruitment to the Army?

Following are the qualification:

a. There are certain conditions with regard to physical requirements, mental health, general education and technical knowledge that have to be met.

b. They should be patriotic, service oriented and should be ready to sacrifice their lives for the country

c. They should be able to work in multi-culture and diverse environment with complete integrity and should respect diversity

d. Any citizen of the country, irrespective of his religion, caste, class or community can join the military.
