What are the aims of N.C.C.? What are its advantages?

N.C.C is National Cadet Corps. Its aim is to develop among the students a sense of discipline, leadership qualities, friendliness and service-mindedness. It is for the youth who are school or college going.

Following are its advantage:

a. Those who have undergone NCC training can easily join armed forces

b. Cadets who have earned distinctions during their tenure are given seats in professional colleges

c. They can secure admission in any defence school

d. They are given training to handle weapons

e. They are made to do activities such as Trekking, hiking, gliding etc.
