What are the values learned by a child from the family members?

Family plays a very important role in the socialization process of a child. Father and mother are direct blood relatives of the child. The behaviour, customs and practices, activities, interaction of father and mother are extremely influential on the emotional development of the child. The child learns the first lesson of life values such as love, concern, faith, patience, cooperation, coordination etc., at home itself. The appreciation received from the family always encourages the activities of the child. Due to the process of socialization, the family can be said to be the basic foundation in an individual’s life.
