Give the latitudinal and longitudinal extent of Karnataka.

Latitude is a geographic coordinate that specifies north-south position of a point on the earth surface. It is an angle which ranges from 0 degree at the equator to 90 degree at the poles.

Longitude is a geographic coordinate that specifies the east-west position of a point on the earth’s surface.

Karnataka extends from 11 degree 31’ north to 18 degree 45’ north latitude and 74 degree 12’ east to 78 degree 40’ east longitude.
