Renaissance gave impetus to humanism which emphasized on human dignity and nature. It opined the material world and life .. The impact was seen in art, literature, music and other attributes of the society. Science, logic and reason replaced the myths and blind beliefs. Numerous philosophers and writers emerged in this time and they dared to challenge the contemporary societies. The critical thinking led people to question the workings of Church. Martin Luther and others rejected the sole authority of church in interpreting bible. On the other hand, geographical discoveries opened the avenues to the new lands and resources. The enthusiasts took on the dangerous voyages in order to spread the idea renaissance to the distant places. Trade with the other world increased and things were transported from these counties to the home land. Commercial revolution began with the discoveries of new lands.
