Answer any four of the following questions in 30 – 40 words each:

A. How did Patol Babu initially react to the role allotted to him?

B. What kind of woman is Lavinia?

C. What was the aim of the game Dragonquest?

D. How does Decius Brutus interpret Calpurnia’s dream?

E. What do the expressions on Ozymandias’ face reveal about him?

A. Patol Babu was furious when he was given a monosyllabic word as a dialogue. He was disappointed to have to speak only ‘oh’ in his role. He was very excited about getting an opportunity in a film, but all his excitement and hopes were crushed. He just wanted to get away from the place.

B. Lavinia is a quintessential woman, who is also extremely emotional and sentimental. She was very fond of shopping and often indulged in buying trendy, new things. She even bought an Ouija board and organized an Ouija party. She loved to socialize with people. She was a modern woman, who can be quite possessive of her husband.

C. The aim of ‘Dragonquest’ was to rescue Princess Aurora from the wicked dragon and also to collect the treasure along the way.

D. Brutus’s interpretation of Calpurnia’s dream is in contrast to how she sees it. He says that it’s a fortunate and a fair vision. According to him, roman people smiling and bathing in Caesar’s blood signifies that romans will get a new life from his blood. He further says that the roman people will keep their handkerchiefs dipped in his blood as relics to show their children.

E. Ozymandias was proud and conceited. He wanted everyone to obey his orders. He wanted to be remembered by all. In his bid to immortalize himself, he got many of his statues made in Egypt. However, as he became old, his glory was lost. The statues too, were destroyed by time.
