What are the other criteria besides income to determinethedevelopmentofanation?

Other criteria other than income to measure the nation development are health, education etc, these are the criteria which provide information about the availability of basic facilities and quality of life. For example, Haryana have very high per capita income compared to Kerala but Kerala have more literacy and less than half infant mortality rate then Kerala, as the government has invested in these basic facilities and providing them. Income alone cannot be criteria of development, because many things depend on the community. Like the availability of health care and education services etc.
