I am writing this letter to you to draw your attention towards the issue faced by the students and their parents of the Diamond Public school in Manu Vihar since a long time. Diamond Public School is a senior secondary school running right in the middle of Manu Vihar, a middle class colony full of housing society flats.

In the morning as well as in the afternoon the road passing in front of the school is congested with school buses, mini buses, private cars, etc. This creates a lot of commotion for the other people using the same road. It also increases the risk of accidents because the flow of vehicles is fast and in between children from the school cross roads. There is no maintenance of traffic on this signal because of which sometimes either the signal is green for a long while or remains stopped. This unregulated traffic movements have created many problems like honking near schools, parking on either sides of the road etc. It is a request from our side to provide at least two traffic police constables to regulate the traffic. Under their vigilance the traffic will become smoother and people will obey certain rules like no honking, no parking and maintain lane driving.

I want you to look into the matter and accept the solution given by us if you find it reasonable. Or else please find a solution to this issue in whatever way you find suitable. We are looking forward to see the action taken by the authorities in this regard.
