For wiring in the home, one uses Cu wires or Al wires. What considerations are involved in this?

For any wiring operations, we need a good conductor. Along with that, we need the material to be cheap as usually large windings of wires are needed to light a house. Taking these two considerations, we use copper and Aluminum metal as they are abundant thus cheap and are good conductors of electricity.
