Find the area of a sector of a circle with radius 6cm if angle of the sector is 60°.
(Take

ɵ = 60°


Area of sector




A = 60°360° × 227 × (6)2 cm2


A = 16 × 227 × 36 cm2


= 18.86cm2


OR


Horse can graze in the field which is a circle of radius 28 cm.


So, required perimeter = 2πr = 2. π (28) cm


= 2 × 227 × (28) cm = 176 cm
