Q6 of 70 Page 21

A shopkeeper has one laddoo of radius 5 cm. With the same material, how many laddoos of radius 2.5 cm can be made.

Volume of a sphere = (4/3)πr3

Given, shopkeeper has one laddoo of radius 5 cm

Volume of the laddoo = (4/3) × (22/7) × 53

Now, from this one laddoo, laddoos of radius 2.5 cm are to be made.

Volume of laddoo of radius 2.5cm = (4/3) × (22/7) × 2.53

∴ No. of laddoos of radius 2.5 cm that can be made
