Find the area of the triangle whose base measures 24 cm and the corresponding height measures 14.5 cm.

Given,


Base of triangle, b = 24 cm


Height of triangle = 14.5 cm


We have to find out the area of the given triangle


We know that,


Area of triangle = × base × height



= 174 cm2


Hence, the area of the given triangle is 174 cm2
