Q9 of 41 Page 226

Mother has made laddus. She gives some laddus to guests and family members; still 5 laddus remain. If the number of laddus mother gave away is l, how many laddus did she make?

It is given that,

Number of laddus given away = l

Also,

Number of laddus remaining = 5

Therefore,

Total number of laddus = Number fo laddus given away + Number of laddus remaining

= l + 5

Hence,
