Here, X is Carbon, Y is Diamond Z is Graphite.


Non-metal X is carbon (C). Carbon exists in two different forms. These different forms of carbon are called the allotropes of carbon. Diamond and graphite are allotropes of carbon.
Y is diamond because diamond is the hardest natural substance. Z is graphite as it is a good conductor of electricity.
