Find the area of the sector of a circle having radius 6 cm and of angle 30°.

Given:

Radius of circle = 6 cm


Angle of the sector = 30°


∵ Area of sector = × πr2


= × 3.14 × 6 × 6


= 3 × 3.14 = 9.42 cm2


Hence, the area of the sector is 9.42 cm2.
