Q5 of 18 Page 13

Find the volume and the surface area of a metallic sphere having diameter 8.4 cm.

Diameter of a sphere is 8.4 cm
Radius of a sphere is 4.2 cm
Volume of a metallic sphere =π r3 = × × 4.2 × 4.2 × 4.2 = 310.464 cm3
Surface area of a metallic sphere = 4π r2 = 4 × × 4.2 × 4.2 = 221.76 cm2.
