State with reason any two possible consequences of elimination of decomposers from the Earth.

The two important roles that decomposers play in the environment are as follows:

1. They helps in recycling the materials in the biosphere.


2. Decomposes dead plants and animals and therefore cleans the environment.


So, if decomposers are eliminated, then the dead bodies will remain as such in the environment and pollutes the resources. Moreover, the nutrients present in soil, air, water will get exhausted soon resulting in end of evolution of life.
