Explain the problem of ‘‘how to produce’’.

The problem of how to produce is regarding the technique of production that should be used. There are two techniques of production - labour intensive and capital intensive. While choosing the technique of production it should be kept in mind that it is the basis of cost of production and such technique should be used which could produce the commodity in the least possible per unit cost.
