The factors that influence the foreign policy are :


1. Geographical Location: This includes the number of neighboring countries, natural resources, physical features etc of a country. While framing a foreign policy a country needs to consider its neighboring nations.


2. Population: Greater population imply higher manpower and providing attention to their basic needs becomes important, hence the dependency upon other nations too increases.


3. Military Power: Greater the military power, the country emerges as a superpower and foreign policies of these nations affects other countries too.


4. Economy: The nations that are more developed are less dependent on other nations and vice versa.
