(a) Globalisation brought international cooperation world wide and India was no exception to this. India gave positive response and after 1990, brought many economic reforms like opening markets for other countries, removing restrictions on trade, India also became a member of World Trade Organization and has constantly put efforts to apply the policies of the organization.

(b) Technology is a boon for the world. It is due to technology that today geographical distances have been shortened, it is possible to contact anywhere in the world, money could be transferred to people anywhere via electronic medium. The sectors like health have been improved and life expectancy has also increased. The quality of life has improved drastically.
