Salt Satyagraha was the beginning of the Civil Disobedience Movement led by Mahatma Gandhiji. This Salt Satyagraha was against the unfair act of the British Government which imposed a tax on salt which was available in nature. Gandhiji started this satyagraha from Dandi in Gujarat and hence this is also called as ‘Dandi March’.
