(a) Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Datta hurled a bomb in the Central Legislative Assembly.

(a) Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Datta hurled three bombs in the Central Legislative Assembly because the government had introduced two bills in the central legislature, curtailing civil rights. Such an act was a symbol of protest.


(b) Madanlal Dhingra was a revolutionary connected with India House. Since he shot dead Curzon Wylie, an English officer, he was hanged.


(c) The suspension of the non-cooperation movement by Gandhiji turned many young Indians towards adopting a path of revolution. Revolutionaries such as Chandrashekhar Azad, Ramprasad Bismil and others came together. Therefore, in order to collect funds for revolutionary work, they whisked away the government treasure near Kakori railway station.
