Collect patriotic songs.

During the nationalist movement, patriotic songs played a very important role in creating as well as spreading a feeling of collective belonging amongst people. A no. of patriotic sings became popular which were sung by people in different regions of the country. For example – Vande Mataram became a popular song after its composition by Rabindranath Tagore.
