By travelling at a speed of 48 kilometres per hour, a car can finish a certain journey in 10 hours. TO cover the same distance in 8 hours, the speed of the car should be

∵ Speed of the car = 48km/h


Time taken by car = 10h


∴ Distance = Speed × time = 48 × 10 = 480km


If car need to cover 480km in 8h, then


Required speed = km/h


Hence, option (a) is correct.
