Q4 of 75 Page 233

If the volume of a right circular cone of height 9 cm is 48 π cm3, find the diameter of its base

Height (h) = 9 cm

Let the radius be r

Volume = 48 cm3

r2h = 48 π

r2 = 16 cm

r = 4 cm

Diameter = 2r = 2 * 4

= 8 cm
