What is the average speed of a Cheetah that sprints 100m in 4sec.? What if it sprints 50m in 2sec?

Given, distance = 100m and time = 4sec.


Using formula,




If distance = 50m and time = 2 sec, then



= 25 m/s


So speed remains same for both the cases.
