As seen in the figure ABCD is a rectangle

Length = CD = CF + FD

= 5 + 2

= 7 cm

⇒ CD = 7 cm

Breadth = AD = AE + ED

= 4 + 4

= 8 cm

⇒ AD = 8 cm

Perimeter of rectangle ABCD = 2 × (length + breadth)

= 2 × (CD + AD)

= 2 × (7 + 8)

= 2 × 15

= 30 cm

Perimeter of rectangle ABCD = 30 cm
