The equations x + 1 = 0 and 2x + 2 = 0 have the same solution.

Given x + 1 = 0 ⇒ (a)


2x + 2 = 0 ⇒ (b)


In the second equation we are going to take 2 as common since all the term in it is multiple of 2


2(x + 1) = 0


Sending 2 to R.H.S


X + 1 =


X + 1 = 0 ⇒ (c)


We can see that equation a & c are same


So, they will have same solutions.
