A shopkeeper buys 80 articles for Rs 2,400 and sells them for a profit of 16%. Find the selling price of one article.

Given that, CP of 80 articles = Rs2400

∴ CP of 1 article = = Rs30


Also, profit% = 16%


Then, SP for 1 article = (100 + 16)% of 30


= 116% of 30



= Rs.34.8
