Q35 of 139 Page 41

A train starting from stationary position and moving with uniform acceleration attains a speed of 36 km per hour in 10 minutes. Find its acceleration.

u= 0m/s

V = 36 km per hour = 36 x (1000/3600) m/s

T = 10 minutes = 10 x 60 sec

On applying the formula,

Acceleration = 0.016 m/s2
