Find the value of x in each of the following diagrams:

Given: ∠AOC = 90°, ∠COD = 4x and ∠BOD = x

We know by proposition 1,


∠AOC + ∠COD + ∠BOD = 180°


90° + 4x + x = 180°


5x = 180° - 90°


5x = 90°


x = 18°
