Respiration is a chemical change that involves the breakdown of Glucose into other smaller molecules. The reactants used are glucose and oxygen and the final products are carbon dioxide and water. Glucose in the cells react with oxygen in the inhaled air and releases carbon dioxide and water molecules. The word equation for the respiration reaction is:
