List out the impacts on society if the sex ratio is too low or too high.

Sex ratio can be defined as a number of females per 1000 number of males.

i. High or Low sex ratio signifies the discrimination in the society regarding the gender of a person.

ii. Due to this, there will be an imbalance between the population of male and female which can lead to many problems like dominance and violence against a particular gender. If males will be more in number than female, they will dominant females and vice versa.

iii. It will prevail in high inequality in the society and a particular gender will suffer.

iv. Distribution of wealth between males and females will get imbalanced.
