Note on social-religious reformers of India.

By the early 19th century, people started expressing their views about different religious issues. People started debating about it in public and in print. Printing newspapers and articles led to the spread of new ideas and beliefs and change in people’s opinion. Some of the social reformers in India were – Raja Ram Mohan Roy who published Sambad Kaumudi, other notable social religious reformers are - Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, Swami Vivekananda, Dr BR Ambedkar and many more.
