What is the relation between venation and roots?

Venation is referred to like the arrangement of veins in the plant. The highlights are-

• If the plant has tap roots, i.e. dicot plant, then they are having reticulate venation.eg rose plant, carrot.

• If the plant has fibrous roots i.e. monocot roots, then they are likely to have parallel venation. Eg wheat, maize.
