What is hormonal stimulation in fish and how is it done in fish?

As the advancement in the fields of aquaculture and fisheries are prevailing to a large extent. The hormonal stimulation in fishes are done in the case where they do not reproduce naturally in captivity; this is done to activate there reproduction cells. The reproduction cells obtained from the fish are then treated with the luteinizing hormone. This hormone triggers the ovulation.

There are generally two steps in which it is done:

• The entire focus is laid and the fact that the natural environment is provided to them similar to the natural one. The temperature, atmosphere and the content inside the culture medium are modified to convenient the process.

• The next part comes when to inject the fish with the number of naturally occurring reproductive hormones.

Two of the major facts lies here one is to manipulate maturation, second is to induce ovulation.
