Let cost price of one article be Rs. c.


Given: 16 articles cost Rs. 72.


⇒ 16 × c = 72



So, the cost price of one article is Rs. 4.50.


Now, Cost Price of 30 articles = 30c


⇒ Cost Price of 30 articles = 30 × 4.50


∴ Cost Price of 30 articles = Rs. 135


Let us assume y articles can be bought for Rs. 207.


⇒ y × c = 207


⇒ y × 4.50 = 207



Thus, the cost of 30 articles is Rs. 135 and 46 articles can be bought for Rs. 207.
