Are reservation of seats in colleges, offices good or not? Give your views for or against the statement.

Reservation of seats in colleges and offices were made to balance the society and ensure that equality is maintained.

According to the laws the seats are reserved in the education and government employment for Dalits and Adivasis. The reason being given that for decades these communities were denied opportunities and were discriminated, so to assist them such reservation policy was drawn. The reason was aptly sighted as these communities were not granted equality and were deprived of many facilities that were availed by other upper-class people.

This Reservation policy though was enacted to uplift the socially backward community, but due to lack of necessary amendments, the castes continued to increase and their provisions became larger. The people or community who were lifted up due to reservation denied to give it up, resulting in the needy not receiving the benefits.
