Those resources that can be replenished over time are known as renewable resources. Some examples include:

1. Trees- the constant felling of trees has led to a loss of forest cover. This has resulted in global warming and the trees also take time to regrow.

2. Water- only 2.5% of water on Earth is freshwater, and this resource is shared between humans, animals and plants alike. Depletion of water can cause severe damage to the life on Earth.
