Prepare a questionnaire to collect the information from your local health worker about spreading of diseases?

Health workers are at high risk of acquiring infectious diseases at work, especially in low and middle-income countries (LMIC) with critical health human resource deficiencies and limited implementation of occupational health and infection control measures.

The following questionnaire may be prepared:

a) Have you ever fallen ill?

b) If yes which was the treatment you took?

c) What are the precautions you took after that?

d) Have you vaccinated yourself thereafter?

e) Do you eat junk food from roadside?

f) Did you share food, clothes or towels with the infected person?

g) Did you use stagnant water by bathing or drinking?

h) How often do you get sick?

i) Did you touch or eat an infected/allergic animal?

j) Do people in your area have latrines in their compounds?

k) How serious was the disease?

l) How soon do symptoms appear?

m) Do people generally have soap and safe water in their homes?

n) What are common ways that people in your area might get disease?

These questions will help in getting a data about the type of disease the workers usually get affected with, So that a preventive measure can be taken for their health benefit.
