How can we secure our fundamental rights?

The Fundamental Rights are a vital property of the Constitution and not granting them to the citizens is the failure of the country. Hence ensuring that these rights are granted to the citizens is very important.

Article 32 of the Constitution, i.e. Right to Constitutional remedy ensures that these rights are granted.


1. This is also a Fundamental right.


2. The importance of this right is that it makes other Fundamental Rights effective.


3. If any of the fundamental rights are violated by the state, the citizen could approach the courts.


4. The Supreme Court and High Court have the power to issue writs for the enforcement of the Fundamental Rights.


5. They award penalty and punishments to the violators.
